 Health Market Science is a young, rapidly-expanding company located in King of Prussia, PA. HMS is the leading provider of scientifically-engineered targeting, master data management, and advanced analytics solutions for the healthcare industry


The Product Manager, CompleteView™ is responsible for the growth and profitability of Health Market Science’s CompleteView™ Solutions.  The Product Manager will meet this objective by capturing and assessing new market requirements and translating them into new product offerings, defining pricing, supporting sales opportunities, and evaluating and building strategic relationships with partners and suppliers.   He or she will develop and manage the execution of the product roadmap and will drive all associated activities.

  

Responsibilities:
The Product Manager owns the CompleteView™ product roadmap.  He or she is responsible for defining the product and driving the schedule for major product releases.

Captures new market requirements, identifies product candidates and evaluates the business case feasibility of meeting such requirements.  Identifies required quality metrics, reviews periodic audits to ensure products meet specifications and develops and implements remediation plans when products do not meet specifications.

Responsible for product line’s p&l.  Defines pricing and cost models to meet revenue and income objectives.  Manages product budgets to help optimally allocate raw material and production spends. 

Partners with Sales, Marketing and Product Engineering to create and maintain a competitive analysis of how HMS products fit into healthcare information market.  Develops strategies to differentiate the product offering.

Supports strategic sales opportunities and evaluates and develops relationships with partners and suppliers.

Organizes and leads one-on-one customer discussions and focus groups to identify areas for product improvement and enhancements


 

Requirements:

·         Past success as a leader in a Product Development role.

·         Experience in assessing market and business opportunities, defining business and feature requirements, coordinating feature development, and measuring results.

·         Ability to manage multiple concurrent product and client initiatives and use good judgment to help team prioritize efforts.

·         Successful at managing resources in a matrix environment

·         Extensive experience writing detailed, technical, functional product specifications

·         Healthcare Industry Consulting Experience, preferably working with other Master Data Management solutions, SFA systems, Customer Master, Pharmacy POS, and/or Claims Adjudication.

·         Very strong written and verbal communication skills required, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external client stakeholders

·         Excellent analytical skills

·         BS/BA required, MBA prefered
