Ron Cacciola

Ronald Cacciola is Chief Investment Officer of Zurich Alternative Asset Management, LLC (ZAAM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Financial Services Group, an insurance-based financial services provider with a global network of subsidiaries and offices. ZAAM manages over $6 billion alternative asset investments for Zurich, including private equity, hedge fund, and U.S. real estate assets. He has 26 years of investment experience and related finance experience. Prior to co-founding ZAAM, from 1995 to 2005, Mr. Cacciola served in various senior investment roles for Zurich in the United States and Switzerland. Previously, he managed fixed-income teams at Home Insurance Company, County NatWest, Security Pacific and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Cacciola has an MBA from Columbia University School of Business and a B.A. degree in Economics and English from Wesleyan University. He currently is a member of Wesleyan University's Portfolio Subcommittee.
